Moonpie: This project is named after the cookie, which is frequently thrown to spectators who attend Mardi Gras parades in Mobile. Though more famous in its New Orleans manifestation, the celebration of Mardi Gras actually originated in Mobile AL. Warren has documented Mobile's carnival for a number of years.
